Who’s the Victim?

In the Crucible, I think that Proctor represents the men who are the victims. Proctor, being the main victim, is no longer trusted by his wife because he admitted that he was alone with Abigail. I think that the girls are involved in witchcraft, stirring things up even worse for Proctor, because no one will believe him.
